I have been teaching for 14+ years and along the way have come up with a few resources that have worked well with groups of students of different abilities and ages. These are the ones that I have listed in the shop. Give them a go and I'm sure you will find them engaging and simple to deliver. Because after all, life is about working SMARTER not HARDER!!

Pixar short films area great way to introduce and teach a range of topics.
They carry underlying messages, and in this film about a young Sandpiper we see ideas around bravery, creativity, persistence and how birds live at the beach with searching for food, living as a flock and interacting with other creatures.
This film can be used independently or can compliment a wider activity into studies into the environment, survival, birds and also resilience and adversity.
There is a range of fun literacy activity which are highly visual to cater for all learning needs. This includes Including cloze passage comprehension, first to last order, crossword, lots of coloured pictures, short sentence writing and the ability to add and remove sections that suit the needs of your students. In addition there is an extension activity for students who need additional work.
This is a workbook of literacy activities that are paired with the Pixar short film - LIFTED.
This is a hilarious film that students adore and I have used this booklet as part of both film studies, creative writing, activator/tune in activities and outer space themed units.
It has a range of activities including cloze passage, ordering scenes from the film, pictures, definitions, problem solving and other literacy sentence building activities.
I hope you enjoy it as much as my students.
